Gorilla Gold is great for added grip for stone lifting or flipping tires. Gorilla Gold instantly repels moisture, letting you tack up your grip and/or hands easily. It helps with stone lifting if you don’t want the mess, but tacky is still the best for gripping stones.
Include our large-poly, super-strong polypropylene/polyethylene blended synthetic macro-fibers in your concrete mix to assure the strongest possible stone. These fibers act like mini re-bar, successfully replacing steel fibers, welded wire mesh, and conventional reinforcing bars in the stone. Fibers increase overall durability, fatigue resistance, and flexural toughness of the stone. Bulk mixture includes (1) 12oz bulk bag or box of fibers, equivalent to around 8 small bags of fibers.
Small Bag - Include with wet concrete mix:
8"-12" Stone: 1/2 Bag
14"-18" Stone: 1 Bag
20"-24" Stone: 2 Bags
Bulk Box - Include with wet concrete mix:
8"-12" Stone: Small Handful
14"-18" Stone: Large Handful
20"-24" Stone: Two Large Handfuls
Slater Stone Lifting T-Shirt
These shirts quickly became popular when we first started with our stones and molds.
The saying on the back is fitting! "Its not the size of the stone lifter its the size of the stone lifted."
Dave Ostlund Training Tacky
Elite Training Tacky is the most economical tacky on the market. This is a less viscous product than the Premium Elite Tacky, but applies and cleans up much easier. It was designed not only to be more cost efficient, but also as a bridge between chalk-only stone training and stone lifting with the premium tacky lines. This is also a great tacky for novice stone lifters as well as large training groups who consume bulk amounts of tacky. Training Tacky is best-used in temperatures greater than 50 degrees F.
As with all tacky, it is recommended to store with the lid on and out of sunlight to prolong the consistency.
